Merchants of Kashgar on the Silk Road." Melba the Christmas Cactus" is doing well here in Colorado. She has been in full bloom since Thanksgiving.
My beautiful new addition to the kitchen. Just waiting for the glue to dry with the boxes as weight on the counter top.

Most recent events

The lastest project
The Poodle Skirt for Madison's "50's Sock Hop"
Merchants on the Silk Road Ancient China. The trading was hot and heavy. Madi was a very shrewed trader she traded her figs and raisins for silk and then for ivory, gold, porcelain, and I think a War Horse.
My new addition of kitchen cupboards with my wonderful son-in-law and my Sweetheart. Mike did most of the labor and Dad did the measuring and they had everything installed in record time. I really enjoy the new addition to my tiny kitchen.

The Look!

As you can see below . Our beautiful Erika, Erika and Sarah growing tall, tall , tall on Mom's shoulders. Alex being the Master Chef and Alex at the Famous MEL's Restaurant . Alex was very carefully stacking the butter cups while patiently waiting for his dinner. Oh, yes he must have inherited that from his "super stacker" dad. We had so much fun and enjoyment watching him being so careful to get them balanced just right.
